Themes of science and nature are central to my work, in which narratives allude to notions of perfection and containment: beyond a sheltering exterior, there exists the delicacy of a secret, mutable interior. I am fascinated by cellular structure, repetition and the possibilities offered through metamorphosis. Employing repetitive techniques I hand-stitch, embroider and crochet with a focus on minutiae.
